I can only guess, but I think a practicing Muslim must be pretty p ed off with this scum being described as muslim terrorists.
When much the same thing ( and it WAS very similar) was happening in Northern Ireland you did not hear about Christian terrorists.

But if they are then they are very quiet about it. Why aren't they out there marching on the streets, tearing down the mosques that incite jihadism, getting rid of the imams who preach hate? It's their cult. Not ours and until they actually do become more pro-active then all their hand-wringing and vanilla words count for nowt.

Power struggles have always gone on and probably always will eg the Crusades, Islamic takeover of Southern Spain 1600's (?), neither of which I am sure would have been a afternoon tea party. The problem now is that we have technology in the Paris case mobile phones, automatic weapons, explosives even cars to get from Belgium and the retaliation has laser guided bombs etc. And not forgetting 24 hr worldwide news which allows free and detailed publicity of the acts.

I'm not religious, but the problem is not religion it's the need for power.

So what would you propose?

Well since you asked. I would propose a radical change in foreign policy for America, UK, France etc.

If the "West" wasn't stirring the pot there would be a lot less of this excreta flying around.

I know it is very hard to "know" anything, but there seem to be some generally accepted facts about who created and funded first Al-Qaeda and later Isis.

Well it would seem that France has decided to show its feelings about the attack and pretty swiftly too. Let's hope they have enough ammo to hit every inch of soil occupied by one of these pieces of S***

Thing is,
..

It can be almost guaranteed that the people hurt by the French are not the people who hurt them.

And is an eye for an eye ever justified.

So what would you propose? Do nothing ? Invite ISIS round for a nice chat and a cup of tea ?

I would propose to stop buying middle eastern oil with cash and weapon systems that go to governments whose basic ideological code despises us to its core. Who then use the said payment to fund/supply their home grown ideological nutters to export their hatered of us in these most human of ways, in order to destroy the freedoms we take as a right because they threaten their own oligarchies, by being so much more apealing than what they offer their own populace.
After all they want the world to be a 7th century Caliphate then let them try to create it with 7th century weapons and C3 systems.

It's a lot harder to be a suicide bomber if the neighbours cat's peed on the matches to light the fuse for the gunpowder
