Paint stripper

Hello

I am a woodturner really but have been asked if there is a paint stripper that you paint on and leave then peel it off in layers. They think they have heard of it but I am not so sure.
It is to strip old paint of a victorian bannister stair rods etc..

Any advice would be appreciated

There is another one, not Nitromores that forms a layer and you peel the whole lot off after about 24hrs, name will come to me.
