It's in the news today that we all walk much faster than a decade ago
Is that from the car to the pie shop? or are we only counting people who walk more than fifteen feet at a time.

I find it hard to believe judging by any shopping trip in our city most people seem virtually stationary to me and I don't go fast.

60 But then living in and around London if you don't move quickly someone will nick the air that you breathe.

You're right, Dom, London has a pace all of its own. I worked in London all my working life and the most difficult thing I found when I retired was slowing down. Trouble is I made such a good job of it, I don't think I could speed up again :D

Cheers
