I noticed that Philly is in The Woodworker this month building one of his famous rebate planes. Is there no end to this mans talents. Nice one Philly. =D>

Cheers

Mike

Yes I bought a copy and to make sure that I did not miss the future instalments took out a 12 month sub!!
Looking good Philly 8)

Cheers :D

So have I missed the blade making article? I haven't been anywhere near a woodworking magazine selling emporium in a couple of months and I'd rather like to have that one. Got me torch, got me steel, could do with Phil to hold me hand... in a manner of speaking.

Cheers, Alf

Good old B+Q. About £40. Well worth it (and a self-igniting one too!)
For 3mm thick steel up to 50mm wide it copes well. No need to build a forge in the back yard yet......
Philly :D

Hey Woodkateer, good to see your keeping up the reputation.

Martin he has one of those planes, go back to the car boot.

Think that was last month, Al.
Ack, I feared t'was. #-o Haven't been anywhere but Asda (spit), the Orange One (cough) and the flippin' doctor's car park since the middle of February. Why none of them stock woodworking mags and a selection of choice hardwoods I have no idea. :(

I send you a copy, fear not. Philly :D
Ooo, that'd be nice - autographed? :D

Cheers, Alf

Nice one Phil - I noticed you were in the very same edition of GWW that carried my first ever article too

Don't usually buy The Woodworker, but this month it'll be worth it!

Philly, I'm going down to W.H.Smiths to draw moustaches on all the copies I can find.
It's the only way I can think of to get revenge.

Dom

Phil, have you thought of cutting out the middle man completely and just publishing your very own magazine, you seem to have so much stuff completed each month, and I see you in almost every mag I buy - I fear a Tesco style monoppoly and expansion on the horizon:

I liked the walnut plates btw. I'll have to take a look at the plane article, one my greenhouse project is out of the way I think i'm going to spend a number of weeks/months on making up some planes.

Dom
It's only fair
(He seemed to take offence at my photo's of him at Ally Pally   )

The world is not ready for Philly Monthly, trust me  I'm sure everyone will quickly chime in with similar (occasionally rude) comments
Thanks
Phil :D

Don't normally buy 'The Woodworker' but must dash out and get one tomorrow before they sell out

Cheers
