We have the space for all of December, but I won't leave it in there over Christmas, so 3 weeks, I guess.

You are welcome, of course, just don't go expecting much more than you can see in the pictures - I did say it was our LITTLE exhibition!

Lurker - thank you. It really is hard to take good photos when you have a busy background and are using just the fluorescent lights of the room.

Corset - I think there are some clubs, but I don't know of any around here. There was a time when GW used to publish a diary of club meetings, I don't know whether or not it still does. From time to time some of us get together. We had a mini bash here just a couple of weeks ago, and I know others do the same around the country. Last year we had a couple of bigger get-togethers, too, one here and one at DaveL's place. You would be welcome to come along next time.

I once read a letter in one of the mags from the secretary of the Kent Woodworking Club. I failed in all attempts to find who, what and where this club was or what it was all about. Maybe it's a secret society?

Or...... maybe they knew of your reputation to bugger things up

Ah, so, this is the finished mirror that you were on about a while ago - very nice, I do like it! :)

It may not be Cheltenham but it's better than your living room!

Olly,

I've seen the mirror in the flesh so as to speak and take it from me its a real beauty, its impossible to resist stroking it.

Re Cheltenham, what Betty is really selling is an absolutely fab mailing list of potential buyers and makers which her show aims to bring together. She is not a bit interested in us amateur makers although our entry fees and catalogue purchases must help a bit.

I'm not in it for the money myself but if you pros can think of a way to get together a list to compare with Betty's I'll take my hat off to you and come to your show whether you want me there or not!

My comments re: Betty Norbury where tongue in cheek. Tho, I'd love to know the financial value of that little black book. ;)
