Hi,

I called Morrells at their Exeter branch today in an attempt to obtain pricing for 5L of primer and 5L of waterborne lacquer. After what seemed like an interogation, I asked the chap if he could provide the prices as I was keen to get the stuff ordered.

He never did get around to providing me with a price and said he would call me back. He took my name and address ...

Although I pretended to be a company (you think these people would be glad of my business), I suspect he is doing some checks to see if I exist. Surely, he would have had prices to hand if he wanted to quote.

If I don't hear back tomorrow I will contact head office, to make my frustration clear and then look for a different brand of paint for my project needs.

Anyone else had the same problem ?

Morrells are strict Trade only from what I gather. They have been nothing but superb for me, with some nice discounts set up, very helpful. Although I do understand your frustration the store is kind of in the right.

Thanks. That then raises another question "Anyone in North Dorset, Nr Blandford fancy ordering me some Morrells if I pay up front ?"
