Old saw

Hi I am new to this web site, have found it very interesting, I am an avid word worker, not very good, but learning. I have recently been given an old scroll saw, an APTC MS-18. It works, but is missing the blade fittings. I have spoken to Axminster, but they can`t get the parts for me. Would anyone know where I can get the parts? Or is there a mod I can make up? I have never used a scroll saw before, so have no idea how it should go together? So any help would be much apreated.

That is a fairly standard saw made in the far east and sold under many different names.
