Came across this on my tool chest exploration, sharing it on forum as it may be of interest to some on here who like old vintage stuff.
Was either my fathers or grandfathers, not sure about date. From what little I know of L&E, mainly car jack manufacturers and workshop equipment, so this is new to me. It’s very well built, gearing feels robust, I assume it would have had a base, however I’ve not found one in the chest. It’s fitted with a 3” carborundum wheel, looks vintage too.
Hope it’s of interest to some, maybe someone knows more information.
