Here's a fitted dressing room that I made for a client a few months ago.
I sourced the oak locally from a supplier up in the Pyrenees, generally French oak isn't that great compared to English but was really pleased this time with the overall quality from the stock.

The materials cost me around £400 excluding the net-curtains...

That's a lot of Oak for £400!

Really nice job. What finish was used - it looks matt. Also, are the carcasses solid board construction?

Cheers

Thanks... The wood had a great finish and we all decided to leave it unfinished. Yes, the carcasses are all solid as I try to avoid using prefab not through choice but due to the expense as anything from ply to MDF are seriously expensive in France

Russ,

Lovely job, I really like the wide fielding on the panels.

Did you buy the oak PAR or sawn ?

Paul

I bought the oak sawn as I actually enjoy making everything from scratch..

Thanks

Russ,

I missed the £400 for the oak, but even for sawn that is good value
