Turning MDF into gold in a northern town
This is a nice little job I got finished today - I've been working on it on and off for the last two weeks.

The design brief was simple;

One empty alcove...

...and a photo from the internet to give me an idea of the style they wanted

This is what I came up with

And a little computer unit in the opposite corner of the room to match

The client was delighted and immediately ordered another unit for the other alcove. :lol:

Cheers

Another example of the excellent work you produce - love the nice clean,straight lines,and still got a lovely "warmth" to it :D

ultra ultra picky of me, but the matching of colour on the top edging of the panels draws my eye instantly

I quite like the sytle, quite 70's..... I'm sure my parents had a "side board" in a similar style

I'm interested in the front of the computer "tray", does it flip down? special hardware?

There is a lot of 70's style coming back into fashion, flat panel doors etc For some reason people give me funny looks when I wear leggings and leg warmers at work, they are back .....
