Not quite woodworking... Glass splashbacks

Finally got the splashbacks on the wall... Just got to seal the joins:

I like the look of that. I'm thinking of doing the same on my kitchen. Did you get them from a splashback supplier or from a local glazier and painted them yourself .

I'm sure you won't have but I hope you didn't silicone them on, silicone attacks the paint and will show through in about 6 months

I did but with a specialist silicone (low modular neutral cure) designed for the job. I went round the houses for a bit to ensure I did not fall foul of the side-effect you mention.

Specialist glass supplier. Glass Design in Greenwich. They're quite a big player as far as I can tell but also quite happy to deal with the general public on smaller orders. They've done quite a bit for me over the years.

Well done Matt, I have seen this done with silicone on a number of occasions, usually a very expensive learning curve

Much as I would like to take credit for the kitchen I'm afraid I had it made (albeit I benefitted from a healthy discount cos it's my sister's firm )

Two ladies... Designer and Workshop Manager. Both directors and both fully qualified in their respective fields (i.e. designer and joiner).
