I found a pattern I liked to practice pyrography, with a view to incorporating it in scrolling sometime. I enjoyed doing it too. Thanks to Bryan for the pyrography pen.

edit: Just remembered where i got the pattern, so i can credit the artist. http://www.lsirish.com/

Martin,
Have you ever used any Tattoo designs for patterns? there are loads of free to use designs online if you do a bit of searching and many would work great for scrolling/pyrography etc.
Cheers

Plenty of designs on my arms and legs, Brian. :) I used to make tattooing gear for a friend who supplied to the trade, and I occasionally tried it out on willing workmates. They must have been mad! I had thousands of designs but I sold the lot long before I heard of scroll sawing.

I've cut a couple of dragons that were probably tattoo designs.
