Evening gents,
I'm selling off most of my collectibles these days as I've hit the end of that road,
I'm going to sell a Norris shoulder plane on eBay soon and I'm looking to get as much information as possiable to get the most out of the sale.
The iron has TN stamped into it I know that's thomas Norris but the iron is snecked and not the typical Norris shape you seen on the irons why is this? The iron (underside) heel, wedge are all stamped with the number 11. There is steel stamped at the toe (typical) and also Norris london.
Is this an older older version because of the iron?
It has it original green sleeve and seem to not have not been used much in its life.
Luckily the plane hasn't been stamped by any previous owners.
The plane is 3/4"
I'm just curious about the TN? Where most Norris planes stamped in this way?
Looks just like this but whith the differances mentioned above

Thanks
