Well that does look the business and no mistake! A shire horse beside my little pony!

And it's nice to see another owner who appreciates these things. I hope it works for its intended purpose and much more besides.

Never seen an RS monogram on a drill before and cannot find it on the internet either. Those where traditionally a means of writing ones initials in a fancy way, so its probably someones first and second names (maybe a special line of drills named after someone). Otherwise is does look very much like the 1 speed version of what I have (Union A1) with the automatic down feed missing. It does seem to be very difficult to get information about the Union drills, there is one old ad with the model I have on graces guide and thats really all I can find.

I did find these two sites with what appears to be the same Drill, but not really any useful information about it:

http://www.stationaryengineforum.net/t5 ... ll-tart-up

By the way how do I put decent resolution images on here? It won't let me upload anything other than a tiny photo of my drill which I would like to post on here.

(mostly) 2 options for picture posting. There's the regular guide here: picture-posting-guide-t63716.html or theres an alternative method here, writted that meself guvnor but don't let that put you off: posting-pictures-suggestion-t93215.html
I have none of the mods technical expertise, if you want a simple solution try the second link. It's easy enough for me to do which means its full proven fool proof. Both ways work and there's other ways too. Hope it helps.
Regards
Chris
