Newby wanting some help

Hiya,

this is my first post so if I'm repeating a previous thread I am so sorry but I'm quite interested in relief carving, if that's the correct term.

Carving shapes into panels and things like that.

Anyway, are there any books and tools that anyone could recommend?

I found this on the Net and this is kindda like the stuff I'd like to get into...

Any help'd be greatly appreciated and again if this is an old subject, (which I'm sure it is) I'm sorry for repeating it.

Hi Tarka, welcome to the forum.

Can't help with your query I'm afraid, carving's not my thing, but your picture problem is due to our spam trap which stops newbies posting links and piccies. It goes away afer a few posts (but usually a mod comes along presently and lifts it early when it's obvious you're genuine and not just trying to sell viagra or timeshares in Nigeria).
