Just joined from down under, have been turning for a few years. Own three lathes, one is a chiwanese el cheapo the other two I have made myself.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome, makes this antipodean feel right at home

As I am sort of between workshops,[ building a new house with a workshop]so I wont be doing alot of turning. But I am happy to post what I have done.

As to timber, hmm, we do have a very good looking timber down here. But not alit grows near me and distance here has its problems.
