One of my resolutions was to stop hoarding offcuts that may be usefull one day. Some of the bits I found have been floating around the workshop for over 5 years. An hour on the bandsaw resulted in said pile. The space they took up is more important. I now have plenty of wood for the fire. Anyone else got a workshop resolution?

Mine is to rid My Workshop, sorry ... double garage, of everything non-workshop/joinery related. Out goes the lawnmower for starters, then all the gardening in general type stuff, plant pots, seed trays, tools tools and more garden tools, hedge trimmer, vac-blower, strimmer, 2nd lawn mower ...

Two! (count them, 2!) mountain bikes! Hose pipe reels, the list is endless. Then and only then will it be My Workshop!!

... and, I'm getting close! the reclaimed pallet wood shed is almost ready, 8' x 4' x 4'6" (L x W x H) Can't wait!

Burn more off cuts! I throw them under the bench but they just slide back out now.

Build a router table, get some lathe time in, make a woodstore/binstore/gardentools store to get all that out of my way. Who knows what February will bring?

Try and improve the dust situation.
I just got back from being abroad for Christmas and the New Year, having left the workshop at a dead run on 23rd Dec. Went down to there today and the place is absolutely thick with dust.
So the Festool budget is being re-allocated to some better/more dust extraction.

Make my workshed full waterproof...

Replace the floor...

Replace the worktops with 3/4" ply

But mostly to spend more time in it making more useful things.
