I bet it works for anglers though!

I wonder if there's a website forum for anglers who slate woodworkers and say "At least all that woodworking stuff off the telly now and we can settle down with a good episode of 'Screaming Reels'!!".

I'm not against angling, Iv'e done plenty in my time, but to have it on all 3 sides at once is ridiculous, to my mind it's discrimination and I'm blxxdy
annoyed.

Who here believes the 2009 Yankees will be the most expensive team to not make the playoffs? You'd think all these "whoo hoo Yankees" people are in their first year following baseball. Buying a bunch of high priced players does not mean you automatically win the Division, let alone the World Series. Let's let the season actually start and progress before you start making room for your World Series trophy.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha brilliant.... pure genius...

did you google for yankees and post on the first forum you could find or what...

but i do agree. spending money doesn't mean trophys but then the fact that its called a world series says it all really.

how many of these big signings are from another country?
how many have won the 'world series' before?

i actually have no idea about baseball or any interest in it but just the fact you posted here tells me everything i need to know.

If it's World Series just how many countries compete?

Err - only Americans,I believe

However,I was told by an American friend that the series was originally sponsored by the News of the World, which is where the name comes from, rather than any claim to be multi-national.
