I just bought a new Bosch... Seems fine to me.

SWIMBO (and me for that matter) are still trying to figure out the programming, but otherwise LOML is happy as Larry with our choice.

We ditched Bosch in favour of Miele last time around.

I'm very impressed so far - quiet, easy to use, noticeably better build quality. Great big door, so easy to load/unload. Much easier to drain to retrieve things from the filter.

We replaced our Bosch dishwasher with a Miele on the strength of the washing machine's performance so far. Haven't been disappointed there either. It's also very quiet, and we really like the cutlery tray (now we've got used to it).

That only leaves a Bosch fridge and a freezer to go...

Why not one of these

0% energy usage
0% carbon emissions
Quiet in operation

and cheap

We have a Miele still 5 yrs of it's 10 yr guarantee to go.
Expensive but excellent machines.

LG direct drive. Very, very quiet!

LG direct drive for us too

We went for the 7kg load model in favour of the 8 and 11kg models as we thought was best for the money.
The previous LG (still washes well but bearings are done) lasted 10 years so if we get 10 years out of this one its money well spent.

When my old washer started playing up I just gave her a bit of a slap. She's OK now

We actually have an LG, but not a direct drive, too old for that, but very good anyway. I simetimes think that it's a 4 wheel drive the way it skips round the laundry room sometimes?

Yes, We've got the new ISE W1607W and are very pleased with it. It seems very solid and well made and of course comes with the 10 year guarantee - it washes well and is certainly the best we've ever had. We'd have no qualms about buying another ISE

Thanks for all the feedback. Not placed the order yet but definitely erring toward the ISE (even though I'd get discount on a Miele!) Just cannot ignore the pitch and the absence of any adverse reviews. They seem to be the Sebo of the washing machine world.

I send her in doors down to the river on Monday's.
She has her own stone and it works just fine.
P.S. Don't tell her or she will get big headed if she thinks I am happy with her laundry.
Willy.

Sebo  Looks like they've pinched the design of a 70's hoover
Matt i'm intrigued, if you got 10+ years out of a washer why change brands? :?

My mother got 20+ from a Miele...

As it happens we have since ordered a Miele rather than the ISE. Whilst the ISE is highly rated and, £ for £ could represent better value for money in terms of spec for similar robustness compared to a Miele, my discount, a free 10 year g'tee, and £50 trade-in on a Miele brought a more expensive Miele of similar spec in for less than the ISE.

It ain't no looker that's for sure but the best Vac in the world by far. I have seen them in more hotels around the world than any other make (usually rebadged) and our has gone 17 years with no issues. Recommended by John Lewis over Dyson (which I had gone in to buy) and Miele.
