I have used a few new bits of kit this week all of which I found great so thought I would mention them here in case anyone is on the fence about buying any of them.
First off not a tool but worktop jointing compound. Normally used the colorfill stuff or silicone but tried this and it worked really well, doesn't go off quick like colorfill!

At last I got myself a laser measure, great bit of kit, how did I ever manage without one! Loads out there so I went with one my friend uses and recommended. Very tactile, you don't want to put it down.

I used a Blum Ecodrill for the first time and now see one in my future, so quick to use, would be better if it had some kind of extraction though.

Finally I needed a hole coring through a wall for a kitchen extractor, I was surprised when my friend turned up to do it with his DeWalt cordless drill
I needn't have worried, took him 5 mins, I was very impressed although I have no use for such a beast.
