Quick heads up for anyone who'd not noticed.

Joel Moskowitz of Tools for Working Wood is starting a new blog today on which he will reproduce a weekly magazine "Work" which started in 1899.

The best intro to it is this page on his ordinary blog: the url for the thing itself is http://www.toolsforworkingwood.com/...=toolstore&nextpage=/extra/blogpage.html&BG=3.

It looks like being a really good read for anyone interested in the historical side of woodworking, or just to see how far back arguments about tool sharpening go!

Quick bump for this topic - and to say that Issue 4 now has part 1 of an article on how to make your own one of these:

(There's also some stuff about sharpening, but we all know everything about that already...)

Following multiple blogs via RSS feeds is a real time saver, checkout http://www.blogbridge.com/

Blogbridge consolidates our your blogs into one screen where you can view them or open them as needed.

I follow about 20 blogs this way (ukworkshop is one of them ofcourse) its saves hours of time scanning individual blogs for updates manually...
