Just had a look for a similar product. Oddly I found this:

which appears to be a British made product, but not available on any of the sit retailer sites listed?

Hi Wizer,

That'sthe MiniMach sold by Trend.
The M-Power site is run by the inventor, Toby Cardew who now lives in Canada, but still runs M-Power from the UK.
Have a look on the Trend website for the MiniMach and also the UMach and BigMach - both of these are kits to make your own custom built vac tables and come with valves gaskets etc.

I made a MiniMach from the Umach kit about 7 years ago for Good Woodworking, and it still works perfectly.
Certainly far cheaper than the Festool, and can do equal holding, only the swivel/tilt as pointed out is different, but should be easy enough to replicate for those with the time and inclination. Mind you, Holding stock vertically as the Festool video shows? I'd whack it in the vice or clamp it to the side of the bench...

cheers,

Andy

wiZer - How the hell do you keep your workshop that clean!!!!

Pictures on the wall !!!!

and such a neat tool rack --

I am in shock!!

Mike

Thanks Andy, I'll have a read up about it. I'm intrigued.

Mike: Sadly that's not my workshop, or me. It's from a website of a guy who built his own vacuum press.

I dont have the link to hand and I have no interest other than buying and using one of the companies vacutherms.
But look at the airpress companies website they sell 'vacupots' I think they are called, an expandable system made in the UK
