That`s some nice work, especially for your first 9 months of turning, well done.
& welcome to the forum it`s a great place. :D

Doug.

welcome to the fold rodger, you have done some great looking pieces.
i missed out on a graduate last year, i could'nt afford £250 at the time. :(

Pete

I have a Union graduate now.
But all the pieces I have uploaded have been turned on a Record DML 36
With Bowl turning arm with short bed tubes.

The largest is a 15"dia x 2" ht Natural edged plater and a 12"dia x 4" ht end grain Fruit Bowl the end grain was hard to achieve a good finish on the base, is there any way of stopping it pulling the wood out in chunks ?

Thanks again for the comments.

Roger

Hi Roger,

You turned 15inches dia on a DML ? -

I also have a DML, and mine will slow down sanding the outer of a 10 inch platter, there is next to no torque in the DML.

Well done - Love your natural edge bowls
