My customer has decided that they want in-frame rather than lay-on doors to their cupboard.

What do you recommend for a good quality hinge?

-- must be available pretty quickly. Perhaps ironmongery direct or toolstation/Screwfix?

What size is ok for the frame to come out past the cabinet side (if that makes sense)

Cheers in advance

Why don't you just use small butt hinges? They look decent and are easy to fit.

You can get blum hinges for inset doors, with or without integrated soft close.
The hinge with standard base plate are for when the face frame and cabinet are flush, if you have an overhang you need to get the corresponding base plate.

what about using same hinges you already have for lay on, and set them back on a strip of MDF?
