Posted this in the general section the other day without much response, so thought I'd try my luck over here. Was looking for some to buy, but equally happy to farm out the job to anyone willing on here - even more so if you're in the West Yorks area

Cheers - Damian

Right, I had my first experience of turning tonight as I need to make some drawer pulls for my table drawers. I'm sure I'd eventually master it but I can't afford to spend half the term turning some pulls.

I've been scouring t'internet but so far have been unable to find where I can get some walnut drawer pulls in a shaker/mushroom style with tenon for fitting - it seems to be the tenon that is the limiting factor. Does anyone know where I might be able to get some?

Failing that I have a piece of ABW and hard cash if there are any turners that want to step onto the crease.......

We need sketch of pattern required with dimensions.

PM me with details and how critical ABW is if you like, I don't think I have any at the mo.

Thanks for the reply CHJ, I need to work on the sketch a little more to get the shape and dimensions bang on. I have a nice piece of squared up ABW sitting at home that has some knobs hidden in it somewhere so wood won't be a problem.

Can't you just drill out off the shelf pulls which usually come threaded for M4 screws and glue in a dowel? Should be able to get walnut knobs without too much of a problem.
