If these are the same as Ridgeway, they're very good!
I had to change 6 external mortice locks and my usual auger just would not look at drilling one painted door for the
Mortice, could have been oak, or anything.
Bought one of these "shorties" and it went through to mortice in situ very well, a good sharp auger!

Ha ha. Tempted myself, for no reason at all either. I don't go into the whole centrotec thing much, but as the adaptors also fit my metabo too, I should embrace it more.

They look to be very similar to Wood Beaver bits, so they should be fine. I've never gone for any sort of quick release system.

They've come. Only two have the screw painted, one to the point of being choked. Still, a very good buy nevertheless. They're still up at the same price, if anyone's interested.
