Thanks very much for the link, thats the one I was looking for. i have sent an enquiry regarding cost, but I dont think it will beat Peters special offer price. I will let you know.
 
I heard back from the italian man with the stainless steel plates. I like them a lot but he wants 160euro . Thats £140 to you lot.
Says the shipping from Italy to Cyprus is very expensive?

looks like Peter will get the custom as soon as my next pension check gets here.
 
Could you not simply use a plain piece of aluminium
1. use a top guide bearing bit through the large hole in the old plate, to create the hole
2 use a bottom bearing bit to create the rebate in the edge of the hole for your existing plate reducers (you might need to get the router bits resharpened i admit)

Kreg reducing rings are around 3" diameter, and lock in with three pegs in a twisting motion.
