I don't doubt the quality, just the purpose (in the case of the SDS). I'd certainly give the turning tools a go - if I didn't have a couple of dozen too many already. I just wondered if anyone had actually used then.
I've used SDS chisels for chopping out quick and dirty mortices on some huge beams before to take tusked tenons. Trimming joists around chimney breasts I seem to recall. It was all non-visible work and went extremely fast (but extremely non-pretty!!)
