Got a whole load of cedar cladding to put on the new house and am after advice on a nailer. Ideally I want a pneumatic one as already have a 50L compressor for my other nailers.

I am not sure it is worth it for cladding. The nails have to be stainless steel so for a nail gun you will have to buy a lot. Cedar is soft so getting the right depth may be a faff. You do not put that many nails in each board.
I have recently clad large areas of my house with T&G Cedar and found a nail gun unnecessary for the task as the time was cutting lengths to fit. Tapping the joint up with hammer and block of scrap and then nail up with S/S nail was seconds. It would take longer to put the hammer down and pick up the nailer. A mate of mine who has two nail guns does not use them for the actual Cedar cladding either.

I used a coil nailer for building a closed board, feather edged fence a while ago which sounds like a similar task. It worked a treat and saved loads of time and hassle.

As has been said the normal nails for Cedar are Stainless Steel, but should also be ring shanked.
