Hey all, have been following various threads for months with interest, so much useful information and expert opinions, thanks.
I’ve came across this marking tool lurking in the bottom of a long stashed tool box, cleaned it up hoping to find a makers mark and then possibly find out its use, thinking possibly leather working for scribing but may be well off. The twin scribes can be set to different depths, and there is also a secondary depth stop of sorts between the handles. The only mark on the tool is a small flower head motif, which I recall reading something about somewhere, however cannot recall now which maker this relates to. Any ideas?
