These items have been sitting in a corner of my workshop since I moved in, spring/summer of '95, they are galvanised material similar to corrugated roofing, they are almost 2.5 m long and around 180 mm wide.

There are round holes in one end and elongated holes in the other.

Any idea what they are for.?

Any chicken farms around you? They look very much like the feed troughs that run along the front of battery farm chicken cages.
 
My first thought was electrical trunking like flying haggis said, but after a closer look one side looks higher than the other so I decided it wasn't. After Boatfixer said feeding trough I found this image which makes me think he is correct:

The only thing I could think of to do with them was offer to a farmer for a lamb feeder.

So you have re enforced my opinion.

Looks like guttering to me. Used some much the same on our barn. You apply mastic on the joins and the elongated holes are to make getting the gutter bolts in OK.
