Hi and Merry Christmas to all,
This brace is a chrissy present to me from me. I can't make out the makers logo. There is nothing on it to indicate the place of manufacture but I'm pretty sure it's British. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Logo looks like a Watt governor, like these:

That looks like it, and on closer examination I think I can see J S and perhaps a W at the bottom of the oval.
I've not come across this company before so your info is a big help.
