For the past month I have purchased goods and services and not used any cash or cheques, I have not been to the PO, bank or received any weekly wage packet.

I then got a bill in the post for hundreds of pounds and never made any attempt to get some money to pay it, I just picked up the telephone which she was always frightened of and then just pumped numbers in on its dial and never spoke to anyone and that bill went away and I then started purchasing more on the telephone and internet and still never spoke to anyone and got things delivered to my address and did the same thing all over again.

She would say, "where is the money coming from, I dont know"

What a world we live in.

Contactless credit cards - no thanks - I'm sure the hackers will have a field day at your expense with just a smartphone in their pocket :shock:

That's why people are spending more than they are earning and also the reason there is so much debt, it's all too easy to get suckered in by the overwhelming amount of advertising we are being bombarded with into buying stuff which is really not needed.

Oh, and check that bill next time, for some time now magazines have been sending out what looks like a bill but is really a sign-up for subscription.
