Members I know are aware that FECN posted a cnc project that he created and in communication on the forum I suggested we could do an exchange of boxes we had each constructed.

I offered Fecn a choice of timbers and Meranti was chosen but to create a stable and thinly constructed lid piece I made one of my traditional strip drop on lid creations.

I hope the recipients in Surrey like my humble offering and I am certain I am going to appreciate the exchange being sent by Fecn.

Nice box. From the thread title, it sounded like you were offering up a sacrificed virgin to the gods of mechanised jigs :)

Will Fecn's box be made with the uber-cnc?

We do indeed DW - It was the box that both my wife and I put in the 'like' column :) I've very much enjoyed the box project, and it's certainly been a driving spur to keep me going back to the machine. I'll have to think up a new project to do now.

Cheers,

Fecn.

Slim - thanks for the link, I totally missed that, my sub to that thread just stoppped coming through :(

Nice work Fecn!! Now you can batch process them and give 1 each to all your forum buddies :) just kidding!
