Hello,

I've probably c*cked up attaching the pic, so apologies in advance.

Also, apologies for the lack of building up photos, but I forgot to take any.

Anywho, we bought a "teak" garden table and chairs from Homebase, which are fine (very comfy, in fact), but the table is a wee bit small for 4 adults plus plates, bowls etc etc. So I set myself a brief of making a small folding table from iroko (as I suspect the bought items are too) to accompany it.

All that remains to do is apply a finish (teak oil, probably) and some wee rubber feet, to stop it skidding around.

I'm pleased with my first significant (in terms of size) woodworking project, and so is the OH - although she added the immortal words - "you could have made it a bit bigger..."

So make a bigger one to go with it.:)

Looks pretty good, though. How stable is it? The feet look a little close together for the height.

Thanks.

I think the photo makes it look a bit top-heavy - the feet are the same width as the top of the legs, which is on;y a wee bit narrower than the width of the top (if that made sense).

Looks like my photography needs practice, along with my woodwork!
