Just refurbing my multico moticer (m1).

I wonder if anyone knows where I can get a manual on line of same/ similar design? Doesn't have to be the same make but just something to get me through the basics.

Also what is traditionally holding the rear weight to the motor? Is it just wires of any sort? My one had old wires which were so frayed that I have cut them is that what the originals had - can easily renew them.

The counterweight has always been connected by wire. I dont have a manual for mine but would be happy to help you out if with anything you need to know. The only bits that are a bit different to normal morticers are the collets and drill bit holding otherwise its just a case of turning on and pulling the handle.

cheers

... and if the work gets stuck and lifts up, dont push it down hard or the handle will come over and whack you on the head - giving you concusson if you arent lucky - DAMHIKT
