I bought a morticer (slot morticer) for the workshop, second hand. What I didn't realise was it only had one bushing for the bit. So it can hold and chisel but only one size of bit.
I had the same problem on a different machine, i couldnt find any and in the end went to a little local engineer, wish i had gone ages ago i left the measurements and he had them ready for the next day, and only charged next to nothing. I now go there any time i need something making for a machine, motorbike etc, its really handy to know he can sort it for me.
