Nicely done, the people inside the O make this stand out, and I like the fact you have a base, I've put bases on some name plaques I made also and it makes the whole project that bit special. I think.

hi brendan, i cut this one out and sell loads of it, nice touch with the base but i'm affraid i dont like the L at all on this one, either make the serif bit go completely over the top or leave it off, i leave it off..

Good on ya Brendan !! You must be drop kicking the 'puter well now . Told you so ,just don't try the two footed one and you will be fine .

Thanks Lads
Steve I only noticed the L when you said it, the other side of the serif broke off!!! but I think you are right, it would look better plain

Looking good Brenden.

You have reminded me, must get to work on some valentines related items myself, for the Cats Protection shop. (hammer)

It only feels like yesterday I was making Christmas related items.
I think old father time has given up marching and has broken into a sprint.

Just one question, have you used a hard wood like Utile, or have you stained soft wood.
If it is stain can I ask please, which one you have used, as the colour looks very uniform.

Take care.

Chris R.

Hi Chris
The wood is mahogany and I coated it with mahogany stain. I found the wood in an old shed near my home, it was the leaf of a table once and after cleaning about 2 inches of bird droppings off it it came up fairly good.
Regards
Brendan
