More Metabo problems!

I was using my Metabo ROS today and it started to slow down and vibrate a lot. I know it isn't the brushes as I have just replaced these a few weeks ago. Has anyone any idea of what it might be?

I've had loads of issues with me Metabo ROS - first it was the vibration and had to be sent back, now the speed adjustment won't work.

I know this does not help your problem but just had to let that of my chest.

Simular problem with my SE 450 - had the bearings changed to fix it.

Did you change the bearings yourself or have it done? If so how much was it to repair? John.

Had them changed as part of a service by the local Metabo agent, had the brake ring changed as well. have lost receipt but think it was about £25.

Thanks John. I think this is the problem with mine as when I spin it up with no load it is whining quite loudly.
