Moisture meter suggestions

I'm looking for a moisture meter (without pins) to check wood for frame and panel doors/lids to see how much movement allowance I need to be more "scientific".

Does anyone have any suggestions. Definitely not looking for a Temu random number generator, but equally some of the Wagner Orion ones are a bit pricey! Is there anything in between that is useable?

I looked into this a while ago, I will buy a Wagner once I can afford it.
The Extech non contact ones look good and the Protimiter are well reviewed but they are similar prices to the Wagner ones. The difference between the models seems to be the penetration depth and number of materials/ timber species.
