Easy and fast project to do. Keywords was simplistic, white and light.

Welcome Marko. Your url has been caught in our spam trap. Once you have a few posts it will leave you alone.

That's a very nice shelf unit. I have been trying to dream up something similar for some time and may well steal your idea ;)

:)

I like that a lot. I Had a similar idea to do something for my living room, which is also white - you need to build up your book collection though :)

Is there a formula involved with getting the shelves to fit the support correctly?

It's just "ctrl+x" and "ctrl + v" as you can see. :)

Yes the shelves are fixed in to the wall. With this kinda anchors.

I found them from local hardware store.

ByronBlack: Yes I have to sell all colourful books and just buy books with black cover

I imagine lining all that up is a complete nightmare, well done

Kiitos!

I'm impressed

It's pine. I bought two edge glued boards... so I just did cutting.

Yes MDF is available in Finland. I use MDF only with jigs or if I have to do veneering.

Terve arko.

I should know Finnish a little, I was born there 40 years ago,
Had the good fortune (?) of living here in the UK ever since.
But my soul is still in the Finnish forest...
I have not seen any MDF for sale in the DIY stores in Finland, plenty of Birch ply but no MDF.
Very hard to find solid Birch here in the uk.
Moi

Here's proof that we have MDF!

I did a little bit veneering on this weekend.

Yes the Finnish forest/countryside is very beautiful... but so is countryside in UK too. Few times I have had change to spend couple weeks there...
