mobils on bikes

We were just sitting drinking tea at the tax payers expence and someone said, is it agains the law to use a mobil phone on a bike.
I think not said I, well it should be said this 70K office wally.

I've not come across many cyclists using mobile phones but I see a lot of moped-riders with their MP3 players plugged in to their ears - something should be done about that, I feel! :?

Ok I agree but what about these idiots with the music turned up so loud in their cars that you can feel the vibrations in your own car! Brain dead as well as deaf I think. :idea: :roll:

I remember watching a programme about custom car tunung and massive stereo's and the damage to hearing they can cause. They did a hearing test on one chap and told him he already had reduced ability to hear sounds in the high frequency range - his response was to go and buy a bigger pair of speakers specifically for that range so he could get the sound louder to ensure he wasn't missing out :roll:
