WOW! well impressed with that one. How did you get such a shiny black finish on it, it looks almost real. Can you make me a Transit :lol: No seriously looks good, I did know straight away what it was though, I used to own one many moons ago. I like it. :wink:

well theres about 1/2 hrs work there after working out the design. I'd seen some at various VW shows going for 70 - 200+ so I thought I'd see how long they take. Twas about what I guessed. it was an old oval mirror and a scrap of ply, so the beetle rear window was the 1st thing that came to mind. I posted on a couple of VW forums and was pleased with the responce ! I just asked what people might pay was surprised by the positive comments. They'd seen them at shows and thought mine was one of the better ones with a value of 50 - 100

so I wonder when wifey will notice all the mirrors go missing in the house :lol:
