Having had my freebie parcel from Mirka and British Woodworking (thanks Nick) arrive yesterday I had a brief play around with it in the 'shop last night. I had to do a bit of fiddling around with the connection to the 'shop vac but once that was done I tried the 120g on some elm (got a few oddments loafing around   ) and I was very, very impressed...no residual sanding dust at all on the surface of the timber and nothing floating in the air afterwards, so I think I'll have to get hold of some finer grits now for final sanding. The only downside is that it's slightly cumbersome to use with a big hose attached and it can only be used on flat stuff, so curved work will still have to be done with the more traditional hand sanding papers. Anyone else tried it yet? - Rob
