Has anyone successfully made their own mft style table, and if so, what method did you use and which drill/router bit worked best?

Thanks for any advice...

Gerry

i think that you would be better to buy a CNC'd one, i dont think you would get the accuracy that you need by making one.

Stu_2 was making them a little while ago, and the postage seemed reasonable. Worth doing a search.

At the price Stu2 was charging for a cmc top it isn't worth trying to do it yourself. I will need a big one soon and he is top of my list.

I don't have any specific threads bookmarked unfortunately but if you have a look over on the Festool Owners Group forum you will find lots of discussion and ideas on the making of MFT tops.
Also have a look on YouTube for Peter Parfitt's videos. He made an excellent video on his preferred hole drilling method.
