I’m converted it to a lift. I used a rockler router plate it’s was the cheapest by far at £35, My router is a dewalt 626 so different from the 625 but I’m sure you could do something like mine.

Thanks for your reply and images. I am new to routers so cannot really workout what has been done there to be honest.

I guess you have made it so you can raise it from above?

Hello everyone
I’ve recently found this forum I’ve never posted any of my projects before on any site so thought I would start with my most recent project for the work shop and for site work.
I used a Bosch GTA2500 mitre saw bench as the base for it so it’s easily transported. I made mft3 style hinge and router lift. The fence is able to be mounted underneath while folded and the router also but it gets removed for transport. Today started on making 2 way blast gate for it.
I’m planning on inverting a jigsaw and belt sander that would sit in the same recess as the router plate.

Inspired me to revamp my old Triton router table, put on new fence etc and get it up and running again !
