Metal working help in Southampton

Hi All,

I live in Southampton and am in need of someone with a metal working lathe to reduce the external diameter of a small piece of tubular aluminium.

Can anyone point me at a metal work forum or possibly a contact near me that might be able to help.

If nobody here can help the mig welding forum is worth a try. Despite the name they discuss lots of things other than welding.

There’s a Drummond and Myford owner’s page on Facebook full of friendly amenable people so could be worth a shot as there’s lots of those machines still in use

Hi I would suggest you try your local man shed, they sometimes have a lathe.
