Meat and Fish Band Saw Blades

Further to my last post on this matter, I have received, 2 blades to evaluate. I have fitted the 5/8" blade to my Record Power Band Saw and I will report my findings once I have had chance to test it and speak to the company who I have a call into. First impressions, delivery very prompt- what this topic

I bought mine a few months ago from Sharpquips - blades are made by Hakansson. I bought 1/2" and 5/8" 4TPI.

I am very impressed with them and at £9.90 for my 352, very good value.
They give a very fine and accurate cut.

I tried to access the Sharpquips website but couldn't, I would be interested to try them. Have you tried the ones from Hamilton Edge Tools?

No I had the same problem with Hamilton - I ordered mine from Sharpquips over the phone.

Who are Sharpquips? The only ones I could find on the web were in the US of A.

Hi,
this is the Sharpquips UK site. I also bought one of their M&F blades and have never had such a smooth cut.

Like you, I also had trouble with their website ordering but then rang and left a phone number and they rang back very quickly. Delivery was equally fast.

I'll definitely go back to them for another blade when I need one
