Ha... I remember seeing that last year, think that was about time I stopped watching his channel.
I used to love his ingenious machines, love that Pantorouter, guess it's hard to keep coming up with fresh content, I thought this one was a bit silly.

Not long after this he did a simplified and improved remix on the pantorouter (done earlier this year) .
It has actually convinced me to buy the plans and give it a go at some point.
I think he recently moved and now has tendonitis problems so I think he will be doing smaller projects for a while.
Always one of the better YouTube channels...

ha.. it wasn't so much the mouse vids per se, think it was the sound effects that got on my nerves! I just found myself thinking "I want to learn woodworking, why am watching this?!".
I saw the odd vid here and there, think he had a brief sponsorship deal with DeWalt which went a bit sour as people accused him of being a sellout and sales of his plans dropped off.
Not easy being a YouTuber I guess. Really sorry to learn he's not well. Hope he recovers and gets back to making his brilliant machines.

Anyone can make a quick, poor quality vid and slap it up on YouTube.
However to build a channel, keep coming up with fresh, high quality well-edited vids that attract and keep 100,000+ subscribers happy can't be easy.
I find building stuff alone tough enough, to do it and have to think about lighting, camera angles, sound etc and then spend ages editing it, answering people's questions/abuse etc! Fair play to those who do it every week.

His job is as a content provider for his youtube channels, the same as Steve Ramsey (although he's branched out). In other words they're youtubers who happen to use woodwork as their vehicle as opposed to woodworkers who have youtube channels.
