Using a sharpener like that ensures that you get the correct angle on the blade #-o......going to get the tea on 'cos SWIMBO will be home in a minute

I've made quite a few like Woodbloke's (copy from the Aussie chap).
I turn the handle, fit blade etc. then make slight flat faces on the handle parallel with the flats on the blade.
Give them away to anyone who wants one in the hope the favour will be returned
I use old Bosch jigsaw blades as I have a compulsion never to throw anything away that it might be useful.
